  • Client Testimonial

“Before I came to see Matt I was in constant pain. It had started about 2 years ago just on and off with pain in my shoulder.

I couldn’t find a comfortable way to sleep and lying on the floor was so bad I would be crying with the pain.
I came out of my first session [with Matt] with no pain, which was unbelievable!

I would never have believed that my pain was related to my posture ... I would encourage anyone to try it.”

    By Car

If you’re coming via the M25, my home clinic is accessible from both junction 7 and junction 8.

    From Junction 7:

    • Come off at junction 7 and follow the signs for A23 / Croydon
    • About a mile or so after the lanes have merged into a single lane, you’ll come to a turning on the left, immediately before the BP petrol station
    • Take this turning
    • Follow this country road (which becomes Elmore Road after a mile or so) until you come to a crossroads
    • Turn right
    • After about 200 yards, you’ll come to a pub where the road forks. Take the left hand fork in the road
    • Follow this road all the way to the end, where you’ll come to a mini roundabout
    • Turn right at the mini roundabout
    • Shortly after that, you’ll come to another mini roundabout
    • To get to my home clinic, go over the roundabout and take the first turning on the right by the Saab Motor Garage / Parade of shops
    • To park in the nearby car park, turn left at the mini roundabout and immediately opposite the right fork in the road is the entrance to the car park

    From Junction 8

    • Come off at junction 8 and follow the signs for A217 / London / Sutton
    • Follow the road for a few miles until you come to a very large roundabout
    • Get in the right hand lane and take the 4th exit, signposted Kingswood & Chipstead / B2032 – Bonsor Drive
    • Follow this road to the end where you’ll come to a T junction (you’ll see a pub called the Kingswood Arms directly opposite you). Turn right here
    • Follow the road for a few miles until you come to a mini roundabout
    • Go straight over the mini roundabout
    • Shortly after that, you’ll come to another mini roundabout
    • To get to my home clinic, go over the roundabout and take the first turning on the right by the Saab Motor Garage / Parade of shops
    • To park in the nearby car park, turn left at the mini roundabout and immediately opposite the right fork in the road is the entrance to the car park

    Parking

Due to the train station being nearby, the road gets quite busy during the day, although there is usually a space to park quite near.

If there is no space to park nearby, there’s a free car park a short walk away, which is indicated by the blue ‘P’ on the map above.

Just for your information, although parking attendants rarely, if ever, come by, it’s best not to park in the slip road that runs outside the shops as there is a maximum of one hour waiting (and they do come sometimes).

    Please Note:

If you park in the car park, the first 50 yards or so after leaving it has no pavement. So make sure you walk on the right hand side so you’re facing any oncoming traffic.

    By Train From London

If you’re coming from London, probably the easiest way to get here is by train.

Depending on where in London you are, you can get a train either from London Bridge or London Victoria.

Whether you’re coming from London Bridge or London Victoria, you’ll need to take the Tattenham Corner service and get off at Chipstead.

Just for reference, the station before Chipstead is Woodmansterne.

You may find, depending on the time you’re coming, that there isn’t a direct service to Tattenham Corner. If this is the case, take any train that’s passing through and stopping at East Croydon.

Get off at East Croydon and catch the next service to Tattenham Corner, which is usually from platform 6 (occasionally it’s from platform 5, but they’re next to each other, so there’ll be no need to cross the footbridge).

    • When you arrive at Chipstead, cross the footbridge and go down the stairs.
    • Turn left and head down the road; you’ll be walking along a parade of shops.
    • Walk right to the very end where you will see an office with a red canopy – I’m above there. There’s a Post Office next door and a sign on my door.

By Train From The South Coast

If you’re coming from the South Coast, take the train to East Croydon and from there follow the same directions as above.

    Train Times

You can go to www.thetrainline.com for an up-to-date timetable of train times. Just type in the where you plan to leave from in the ‘leaving from’ box, and type in ‘Tattenham Corner’ in the ‘going to’ box.
